Wallingford’s Teahouse Kuan Yin, which offered gongfu cha to patrons, has changed hands, and the new owners re-opened the store on June 10. The previous owner stayed on for a while to teach them how the place had been run for 14 years, and his last day is June 21.

An update on June 14 from the owners says they’re fixed up and repainted the bathrooms and get tea and some food items back on the menu.

I never had the chance to visit, but I hope they find a way to make the gongfu tradition available to the public again. I plan on going soon to see how they’re coming along.
