I have been very concerned about the effects on the tea trade as a result of the earthquake. Of course the significance of something as specific as the tea trade pales in comparison to the overall human suffering of the tragedy, but I expect the effects to be quite notable within the tea world. There is a good article on TChing called "<a href="http://www.tching.com/index.php/2008/05/14/chengdu-life-before-the-quake/" target="blank" rel="nofollow">chengdu: life before the quake</a>" about the impact of the earthquake on the tea industry in Sichuan province.
