I think someone should form a guerilla operation to sneak through tea stores removing all those stupid glass infusers for the good of humanity.

I agree about the teapot. Those glass infusers with the little slits at the bottom should be outlawed.

I normally don’t even use the infuser in the pots and just pour the tea through a strainer, but you are right, the clogging in many pots is frustrating as all heck. We need better designed spouts!

Haven’t seen this particular model, but I have come across tea pots that were most definitely never used by the designer to actually pour tea… At least yours should be recyclable, since it’s all glass — maybe it’ll come back into life as something more useful/less dangerous.

I’d forgotten about that annoying clogging problem. The first thing I brewed in it was Gyokuro, which clogged horribly also.

I picked up the same pot and had just as bad of a time with it. I actually tried using it with sencha only to find that it almost instantly clogged the filter to where water couldn’t pass through it. I tossed it right after that.
